Third Sector Performer - The Third Sector Leadership Centre has developed a National Occupational Standards-based assessment tool for third sector leaders, called the Third Sector Performer. This recently launched brand new assessment tool will help leaders and managers in our sector take a more pro-active approach to managing their careers.
It is an easy to use online tool that offers managers like you the chance to identify and assess strengths and weaknesses in your performance, and develop better skills in key areas - all in line with the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for your role.
Recent research showed that 95% of leaders in small-medium sized charities expressed a need to advance their leadership skills - and the Third Sector Performer will not only help you understand where you needed to improve but also how to access best practice, new skills and support.
We are delighted to offer a limited number of FREE six-month trials of Third Sector Performer so you can start pro-actively managing your future career today. The offer is limited to one free licence per organisation.
We will be seeking to review and evaluate the tool and a condition of the free offer is that the Third Sector Leadership Centre will contact you in a few weeks time to request some feedback from you on your experience of using the tool. If you wish to discuss purchasing further licences for your organisation please contact : Mark Freeman

About National Occupational Standards (NOS) NOS define a framework of good practice in the way people work, based on the functions of their job/role.
Presently, there are several sets of national occupational standards (NOS) that address discrete elements of third sector and generic leadership.
These include:
The Performer combines these NOS into a single assessment tool that can be used for leadership skills mapping, recruitment, appraisals and to inform training and development programmes. The tool offers support from key stakeholders across the sector and provides a foundation from which users can map their skill and development needs for the diverse work roles that characterise UK third sector leadership.
