Regional Leadership and Governance Forums 2008
The second series of Regional Forums has now been completed. The focus of this series was Leadership and Governance and in some cases the added dimension of partnerships was also covered. The Forums were organised in partnership with the Governance Hub and regional and local organisations. This ensured that each region had the opportunity to contribute and shape the agenda for the day. I would like to thank everyone personally who was involved in the forums for their support and help. The forums attracted over 400 delegates comprising of leaders, chairs and trustees. The Leadership Centre received strong messages from delegates at previous forums, receiving comments such as: "There is a real need to organise themed forums around leadership issues in partnership with the nine regions" and "Leadership and Governance are intrinsic and the leadership forums are ideally placed to focus on the issues these subjects raise for the sector".
